the jack handle is located under the front seat
where is the tire jack and jack handle located on a 2002 mercury mountaineer?????
where is it mounted/located ?is there a large wing nut holding it in place?if so then un screw itif it is mounted under back of van then you may need the long jack handle extension tool in the van and find the round hole in the bumper and insert the handle extension in the hole and unscrew the mechanism with the tool and the wheel will starts rotating and falling from under the van
"Handle runs across the radiator support, jack should be on the firewall."
In the esv, the jack will be under the long pocket of the left (driver side) plastic trim. Just pull the trey out and the jack and lug wrench is held down on top of the fender well.
Not from the factory
On a 2006 Tacoma the lug wrench has a hex shape appendage on it's side. The lug wrench is thus included in the assembly of extension poles and serves as the handle (moment arm) by which turning force (torque) is applied to the bottle jack.
The jack should be under the spare wheel along with the combination lug wrench/jack handle, under the floor of the trunk.
The spare tire is under the rear of the truck attached to a cable pulley system that can only be accessed with the ignition key and the jack handle that is located under the driver's side second row seat. In addtion, there's a small compartment (under a small cover) to the right of the rear license plate where you have to use the key to unlock and then insert the jack to rotate and lower the spare to the ground.
it is located inside the rear driverside panel with the jack its snaped into the panel I have a 1999 Mountaineer, The jack itself is in the compartment inside by Left Rear Taillight. The handle pieces are snapped in place under and behind the passenger side rear seat, under the flap that fills gap between seat back and back cargo area
It should be in the same compartment as the jack - behind the seat. Agreed. I have a '97 Ford Ranger. The jack and jack handle are in a compartment behind the passenger seat.
On the rear bumper located above the license plate bracket there is a hole that you place your jack extension into. Turn the crank until it lowers the tire where you can remove it. Merry Christmas. Look it up in the owners manual. Use the jack handle inseted into the access hoel above the license plate frame and turn left.
