The 5-digit keyless entry code for a 2005 Mercury Mountaineer can typically be found on a label inside the driver's door frame or on the owner's manual. In some cases, it may also be located on the vehicle's computer module, which is usually found under the dashboard. If you can't locate it, a dealership can retrieve the code using the vehicle's VIN.
My code was located in the compartment with my jack. It is on the side of the white computer box. Hope this helps.
