You recharge your vehicle ac system throught the low side port. All vehicles are different as where the low side port might be located. There is a website www.idqusa.com that has helpfull information about your vehicle ac system including where the low side port is located on your 00 f-150 .
Its on the accumulator/drier. You can find a drawing of this on the link below. Just follow the "Find Your Car's Low Side Port" icon.
Its on the Receiver Drier/Accumulator. I found a drawing of it on the site listed below.
On a 2002 Ford F-150, the low side AC port is typically located on the accumulator, which is situated on the passenger side of the engine bay, near the firewall. It is a smaller port compared to the high side port and is usually connected to a larger diameter aluminum line. Look for a service port with a plastic cap that is often marked with an "L" for low side.
High side and low side refer to the pressure in the ac system. Ie The high side is the high pressure line and low side is the low pressure line.
On my 2002 F150 it was located on the receiver. The receiver is on passenger side just forward of the firewall. The port is on the bottom half of the receiver on the engine side.
The low side is on the accumulator and the high side is on the discharge line......
