Alright, The Cat is located about half way down your exhaust pipe (about 3 feet after the down pipe connects to your exhaust).
Your Resonator is located just off your down pipe, a lot of people get that confused.
Resonator: Muffles the loudness of the engine vibrations and noice.
Cat: Builds heat to burn off left over fuel before it gets the the muffler, also filters out the carbonM.
