I had the same problem. What is happening is that the main circuit board for the instrument cluster is defective. The only way to fix the problem is to have the entire circuit board replaced.

The main relay is in the fuse panel located under the hood on the driver's (left) side. Original equipment relay is green. Schematic decal is on the inside of the fuse box cover.
My car will start up and then when i push on the pedal for gas it just cuts out after 6 sec what is going on please.

Could be a number of things: -Dead battery -Blown Main Fuse -Bad starter relay -Bad starter -bad ignition switch
The main relay and the fuel pump relay are the same. Take the fuel pump relay and swap it with the main relay and see if that will help you....
The timing marks can be found on the front main pulley and on the flywheel. The timing marks will be scattered around the outside of the pulley and the flywheel.
The main relay can be removed by removing the three main wires. The relay is secure with four retaining screws. Remove the retaining screws.
Look into the main computer, that's where alot of those problems originate!
