The fuse and relay are OK but no 12volts in relay box and main switch. Don't work the windows and interior light.
I believe that is in the relay box , in the engine compartment , BETWEEN the battery and the drivers side fender . The ( 2 ) larger relays are the ABS pump relay and the ABS main relay ( NOT the power distribution box / it's called relay module # 3 )
On the drivers' side front of car it is in the main fuse box in the engine compartment.
mini fuse # 12 - 30 amp - is listed for mainlight switch and multifunction switch on a 1998 Ford Explorer in the power distribution box , none of the relays listed are for the headlights
A 1995 Ford Explorer has ( 1 ) ELECTRIC fuel pump . It is INSIDE the fuel tank
in the main fuse panel under the hood.
Yes there is a relay, it is located in the main fuse panel fwd of the pass door, But is is not replaceable. now why would ford make a relay that you can't replace?
The fuse for the side mirrors on a Ford Explorer are located in the main fuse panel. It can be found under the dash, near the hood release.
between where the engine and trans meet
If the main relay goes bad the fuel pump will not function. This has caused many a person to replace the fuel pump only to find out later that the culprit was the Main Relay and not the fuel pump at all. If you suspect the main relay is bad just replace it to be sure.
if you look under the hood in the main fuse panel. you will see a green relay marked circuit relay. that's the one you are looking for.
