if it's like the s14..it doesn't have a relay..
with the key in the on position, is sending power to the fuel pump and turning it on. if your relay is clicking, then the switch is bad and shorting out. locate it in the trunk of the car, or whereever it is depending on the model of 240sx, and replace the relay switch, if you know what you're doing. if not, have a mechanic do it, which will cost under $100 for less than 1 hour of labor. granted you supply the new relay switch. make sure you tell the mechanic exactly what you want done, otherwise they will try to find other things to charge you money for.
A relay is a switch - a solenoid produces a magnetic field.
if you unscrew the radiator and under it you will see to cords you have to cut it out and it will loosen and relaese the relay switch
The 1998 Honda Accord main relay switch will cost approximately $125 to replace. You can save $75 by replacing the switch yourself.
How do i find the relay switch for my Skoda Fabia 1200cc model year 55. I am after the relay switch which works the dip and main beam headlights, my main beam works but not the dipped beam. Thanks.
The horn relay switch is located in a four-relay module installed within the main relay next to the inverter. Use your manual to make things easier.
Ign relay at main ign switch behind the steer.
The relay's coil(s) would be a load, but the main function of a relay is to act as a switch to control power to a larger load.
main relay switch may need to be changed.
No DO NOT do that. You will ruin the machine!
