The male "sex cells" are called sperm (same singular or plural) and they are stored and created in the testicles. The sperm are carried through the urethra to the exit of the penis by a fluid called semen, which is produced in the prostate. The sperm are what is needed to fertilize the egg, but the semen is helpful as a lubricant and as nutrition for the living sperm as they make their way to the ovum.
The combination of 30-50 million sperm join and are pushed along by a load of semen and that is called an ejaculation and will generally fill a teaspoon or two at most.
The male system recharges fast by making more semen & more sperm & can often ejaculate several times a day if the male is sexually stimulated.
The supply of sperm is unlimited in healthy males & is available from Puberty through old age in healthy males.
