it is behind the air filter box, before the curved duct that carries air to the throttle body.
On a 1994 Ford Explorer : The Mass Air Flow sensor is located between the top section of the engine air filter housing and the engine air intake tube
MAF(Mass Air Flow) sensor, TPS(Throttle position sensor) sensor, IAF(Intake air flow) sensor, EGR, leaking, loose or missing vacum hoses...
On the intake housing.
Your mas air flow sensor could be goin bad. I have a 1996 probe and it runs great until you let off the gas then it dies evrytime instantly. Well it was MAF and TPS( mas air flow,Throttle position sensor)
if it is between the air cleaner & the throttle plate it is the mass air flow sensor.
Any Mass air flow sensor is in the air intake system usually in the tubing just after the air cleaner.
The mass airflow sensor would be between the engine air filter and the big engine air intake tube
where is mass air flow sensor located at on a 2011 ford fusion 4 cylinder
MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR, LOCATED ON THE FRESH AIR TUBE FROM AIR FILTER.
could be a number of things first tap on your mass air flow sensor while it is idling and if it lines out change it. or it could be your IAC (intake air control)
The 94 model does not have a MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR.
The Mass Air Flow sensor is located on top of the air filter housing on Ford Explorer.
