MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR, LOCATED ON THE FRESH AIR TUBE FROM AIR FILTER.
if you have the exhaust manifold, oil lines, etc. from the 89 GT then yes.
The 1995 Ford Probe, either the GT or the 4 cylinder DID NOT COME with a Turbo.
any turbo will work if you make your own piping and a custom header but the power you gain with the small turbo will not be worth the time, and money go with a t/3-t/4
bad bearings, lack of oil
Turbo the Tortoise happened in 1992.
Turbo Duck happened in 2009.
you sure can! :) ive taken that adventure
Could be a bad seal, which will eventually cause your turbo to go out.
i will sell you one for 300 3095317145
they both should have a 2.2 engin and the gt has a turbo but they are the same and will fit but you might come into some problums with the dash seeing as you have no boost gage for your turbo.
Yes, are you still needing one?
Yeah...I guess you could say that. If you break a blade in a turbocharger, the out-of-balance condition will cause the turbo to self-destruct. Said exploding turbo will take out your intercooler too.
I have a 91 eclipse with a turbo, I had it up to 145 mph (its almost the same vehicle) I would assume yours could do that as well.
Hanna Barbera's Turbo Toons happened in 1994.
I could, but the fact that you would ask such a question indicates that you could not.
not really. You can get blowby in the turbo itself from high crankcase pressure, but a turbo won't cause engine blowby.
It would be a waste of time and money. You would have to make a special adapter to hook the exhaust to the manifold. On a turbo header, the exhaust hooks to the turbo and the turbo to the manifold.
Turbo lagging. Remove Inlet tube and check that it spins exceptionally freely, and also check that the wastegate and linkage moves freely.
Super Street Fighter II Turbo happened in 1994.
Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo happened in 1996.
It's not going to happen, sorry. You could try it, but expect it to fail.
Depends on how the ECU controls the turbo. If the ECU never lets the wastegate open, the turbo may overspin, which will damage it. On Audi/VW cars, a bad tune can cause an overlean condition, which melts the wastegate flapper door. This will cause your turbo to not boost.
Its the engines limitations that cause the turbo to not explode due to the wastegate being unplugged. The turbo is rating is much higher. The engines exhaust gases are won't spin the turbines of the turbo even at wide open throttle. If the pcm allowed the engine to inject more fuel and at a higher RPM then yes it would eventually destroy the turbo with waste gate unplugged. Ford engineers are very smart and already figured out what the engines exhaust could spin the turbine at full load and then performed reverse engineering and built a turbo that could withstand much higher rpms just in case a failure of the waste gate did happen. Hope this makes sense and helps.
The exhaust manifold and turbo from the 88-92 Mazda 626, MX-6, and Ford Probe turbo models will bolt onto the 86-93 B2000 and B2200. See the attached link for additional information.
The 350 turbo is a good transmission but the 400 turbo will take more abuse.
