It's almost certain you have a Morgan-design dollar, and the woman pictured on it is Miss Liberty. There could not be an 1887 Anthony dollar for 2 reasons. First, Anthony dollars were made in 1979, 1980, and 1999. Second, Ms. Anthony was very much alive in 1887 and was widely reviled by many people in government (all male) who were opposed to granting rights to women, so she would never have her image on a coin from that period.
