From their beginning in 1859, the Indian Head penny did not have any mint marks at all until 1908 and 1909 when the mint mark for San Francisco, California, "S", was placed on the reverse [tails] side of the coin beneath the wreath for the coins minted there.
No Indian Head cent had a mintmark until 1908, so the 1898 cent will not have one.

All large cents were minted in Philadelphia, so they don't carry mint marks. The first cent to have a mint mark was the 1908 Indian Head penny made in San Francisco.
The US mint never made pennies like this. Plus without a date it is impossible to determine the value.
The U.S. never used a G mint mark and the only Indian head cents that did carry a mint mark were made by the San Francisco Mint in 1908 and 1909.
