Nowhere, because there's no such thing. There were no silver dollars minted in the US that year.
Please post new question with a date, the US Mint has never used a "E" mintmark.
No such coin as a 1977 E silver dollar. A Eisenhower dollar dated 1977 can only have a D or S mintmark and none are silver and the coin is just face value.
The National Motto E PLURIBUS UNUM is on all Peace dollars and does not add to the value of the coin. What does add to the value is if it has a mintmark or not and the condition of the coin. In circulated condition a 1928 Peace dollar with out a mintmark (only a "S") is valued at $293.00-$456.00 with out the mintmark value is $17.00-$89.00
The coin is NOT an E PLURIBUS UNUM silver dollar, it's a PEACE dollar (1921-1935) and assuming the coin is circulated and has no mintmark, retail values are $16.00-$22.00 the 1922 coin is the highest mintage most common date of the series
Post a new question and include the date, the country it was made in, denomination, and a mintmark if it has one.
If it has one, it can be a O, S or CC mintmark... Please note that E-PLURIBUS-UNUM is NOT a type or name for any US coin, it's a motto. All the coins in your pocket have this Latin phrase. The coin is a MORGAN dollar.
Your 1889 "e pluribus unum coin" is actually a 1889 Morgan dollar, this series of silver dollars were made from 1878 to 1904 & 1921 at 5 different Mints. The 1889 date is very common and assuming the coin is circulated and has no mintmark retail values are $17.00-$26.00
value of an 1890 E Pluribus umun silver dollar
The U.S. has never used an E mint mark. The only E on the obverse (front) of the coin is the E in E PLURIBUS UNUM, this is the national motto and all Morgan dollars have it. Assuming it's circulated and has no mintmark the values are $38.00-$44.00 depending on the grade.
For this coin, it's best to take it to a coin dealer for an assessment because the value very much depends on the grade of the coin and if it has a mintmark or not. Circulated examples from the Philadelphia Mint ( no mintmark ) have the highest value. Second is the San Francisco Mint (S) and Third is New Orleans (O) But all 3 coins in the in the lower grades are only valued at $30.00-$36.00 depending on grade and mintmark. The better grade coins run from $50.00 to more than $750.00 depending on grade and mintmark. NOTE: The coin is a MORGAN dollar, not a e-pluribus.
Unfortunately two different types of silver dollars with the same date were made in 1921 . One is a Morgan dollar and the other a Peace dollar. But you included the motto"E-PLURIBUS-UNUM" in the question posted and this appears on the obverse (front) of the Morgan dollar coins. Circulated coins run from $25.00-$40.00 depending on condition and any mintmark.
1885 is a very common year for MORGAN dollars, Mint State coins in the grade range of MS-60 to MS-63 are $30.00-$45.00
