open MS word ->Menu bar -> select Insert Tab->click on Symbol option on the bar (more symbols) -> a popup window(Symbol) will open -> From the Font drop down list box(select Wingdings option - there you will find mobile symbol -> select it and click on insert button.

In sysmbols you will find in wedding font.
At top of screen click on Insert then Symbol and it is among the long list of characters and is technically Webdings: 00C8 orÈ or È in Webdings
In MS Word 2007/2010 go to Insert > Symbol and choose pound symbol to insert at current cursor location.
There is currently no character in MS Word that allows users to add a reciprocal symbol. You could possibly copy and paste a picture of the symbol into the document where you want it to appear.
Where are you typing it? In a MS Word document go to "Insert" on the menu bar, click on "symbol" and scroll down until you see the micro symbol and click on it. In MS 2003 it's about 8 lines down in that menu.
