It depends on whether or not you're talking about the Michael Crichton book, The Great Train Robbery or the actual Great Train Robbery. Let's just assume you're talking about the real one. In 1963, £6.2 million was stolen at Brigedo Railway Bridge. It is considered one of the greatest robberies in all of Great Britain. Most of the money was never recovered. You should consider reading the book by Michael Crichton though, it's excellent.
