Chrysler/Plymouth/Dodge vehicles do not use inertia/reset switches.
On a 99 Ram "Sport" 1500 4x4 5.9 Gas the Transmission is a 46 RE and the "Neutral/Back up switch" is located on the Drivers side of the Tranny towards the rear right above the pan.
under the passenger side of the car on the side of the transmission. it should be in between 2 small pipes.
it is under the passenger door on the transmission. you will see it moving if you move the shifter. it is tough getting it off the transmission.

46RE, 47RE, 48RE, it is on the driver side of the case, just below the shift linkage. 545RFE, 68RFE, it is inside on the valve body.
