Does the Golgi body play a major role in protein synthesis?

No. The Golgi bodies do not have a role. The main organelles involed in protein synthesis are the nucleolis, ribosomes, and mitochondria.

What directs all of cell structures activities?

The structure (or organelle) in the cell that directs the cell's activities is the nucleus. It acts like the control center and contains the nucleolis which carries the DNA, vital to the cell's reproduction.

What is the cell structure inside the nucleus?

Inside the nucleus is DNA which takes the form of a double helix. There is also a region of the nucleus called the nucleolus where ribosomes are made.

What is the control center of an atom?

NucleusThe nucleus. The nucleus helps regulate the cell's entire activities such as how much of a hormone to produce or what to let through the cell membrane. It contains the nucleolis as well, which is an organelle which helps produce ribosomes, which are the filaments that make rough endoplasmic reticulum rough and excrete waste.

How do antibodies fight micro-organisms?

Yes. Antibodies are designed to kill microorganisms like virus and bacteria that infect us. The human body has its natural defense mechanism comprising of the WBCs (White Blood Cells) which fight against these microbes if they enter our body. The WBCs are able to defend us against most simple microbes. Certain microbes are pretty strong and when our WBCs are unable to destroy them, that is when we get infections like fever or flu or any other infection. During such situations, doctors administer us with antibodies that can help our soldiers (WBCs) fight against these invading microbes and destroy them which brings us back to good health.
