Where is the o2 sensor on a Mitsubishi pejero 1999, V6 GDI V75W
Mitsubishi Galant, 2002, 4-cyl, O2 sensor, bank 1 sensor 1 (upstream)... PART NUMBER: MR506364
The O2 sensor bank 1 location on a Mitsubishi Endeavor is next to the top hose of the radiator on the motor. The sensor is slightly below where the top radiator hose connects to the radiator and on the top of the motor.
behind the engine
It screws into the catalytic converter.
No such thing as a O2 Sensor Box. The O2 sensor is located somewhere on the exhaust system. Looks similar to a spark plug with a wire connected. May be more than one. The o2 sensor on my 1990 Mitsubishi Mirage 1.5L (same engine as the colt i believe) is on the exhaust between the manifold and the catalytic converter
That is the pre - cat 02 oxygen sensor.
To change the rear O2 sensor on a 2002 Mitsubishi Galant, first, ensure the vehicle is turned off and cooled down. Locate the rear O2 sensor on the exhaust pipe, typically near the catalytic converter. Disconnect the electrical connector and use an O2 sensor socket or wrench to unscrew the old sensor. Install the new sensor by threading it into the same position, reconnect the electrical connector, and ensure everything is secure before starting the vehicle.
The O2 sensor fuse for a 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer is typically located in the engine compartment fuse box. You can find this fuse box near the battery. To identify the specific fuse for the O2 sensor, refer to the fuse diagram usually found on the cover of the fuse box or in the vehicle's owner's manual.
A defective O2 sensor will not prevent the engine from starting. The engine will start and run albeit not as it should.
There is more than one O2 sensor and they are all threaded into the exhaust system at various points.
You did not specify which O2 sensor it is. Is it sensor 1 bank 1, sensor 2 bank 2, sensor 2 bank 1, or sensor 1 bank 2. There are four O2 sensors on a mazda 626
