If you open the trunk to the left there is the pocket/light and 12 v socket for cig lighter, remove that stuff (carpeting) two separate pieces. Its mounted on a bracket that you remove as one piece to get amp out 6ish nuts, bolt studs to pull out (medium difficulty).

My understanding is that you need to have it done at the dealer. There is no way of "cloning" an existing remote onto a second OEM one without dealer tools.
