If it's a 7.3L diesel it is located on the driver side of the engine block. It goes threw the motor mount and can be replaced without removing the mount or any other component. It's shape is round with 2 end castings the oil filter spins onto it. Happy hunting it's pretty easy to see once you locate the oil filter!!. Hope this helps good luck. Powerstroke57
