It is in the center bottom of the bike. The plastic pan has a hole in it and the plug is right there. You can take out the (6) 10mm head bolts to remove the whole pan if you prefer. The plug is a 21 or 22 mm.

The torque for the 1997-2000 Ford Expedition ; Oil pan drain plug is; 16-22 ft.lbs. [22-30 Nm] So it may be the same for the 2001. When, I replace my oil pan drain plug on my 1998 Ford Expedition XLT. I snug it tight and then turn around 1/4 to 1/2 turn. No more no less. Don't want to strip it.
