The oil pressure switch is under the power steering unit. The easiest access is from below the truck.
I have a 2001 Ford ranger 4x4 with a 4.0L SOHC engine. Supposedly the oil pressure switch is located at the upper passengers side in back of the engine block. I have yet to even be able to see let alone replace mine. Typical Ford engineering; crappy!
I'm not a mechanic / technician but I BELIEVE that is ( 40 to 60 PSI at 2,000 RPM ) for the oil pressure on a 3.0 liter V6 engine in a Ford Ranger

The low pressure cutoff switch on the air condition system of a 2001 Honda Accord is located towards the front of the engine compartment. The unit is placed on the refrigerant reservoir.

It is attached to the end of the fuel rail. On 2001 f150 it is located at the back of the engine. Good luck getting at it.

On the 4.0 L OHV engine, the oil pressure sending unit is on the driver's side of the engine, located below the power steering pump.
