The oil pump is located in the oil sump/pan and driven by a chain attached to the crankshaft.
The fuel pump relay is located under the hood, on the drivers side, inside the fuse/relay center.
The 98 S10 does not have a safety cut off (inertia switch).
remove the oil pan, them pump is located in there, should be held on with 2 bolts, either 10 or 13 mm
If you are looking for an inertia switch for the fuel pump, Chevy doesn't use one. That's a Ford thing. However, if you are looking for the fuel pump relay on that 98 S10, look in the glove compartment. You will see a door marked "relays". Behind that access door you will see a few relays, the fuel pump relay will be the first one on your left.

It is located on the passenger side of the engine. You can change it from underneath or thru the wheel well opening with tire removed.
How to hook the horn up
It may also be on the firewall on the passenger side.It may be on the firewall next to your master cylinder.AnswerIn the glove box behind a plastic panel. There are 3 relays in there. The fuel pump is the one closest to the drivers side. Not all have them in the glove compartment1995-98 S10 series fuel pump relay is located in the glove compartment.
The fuel pump relay should be under the hood. It is located in a distribution box on the drivers side. In the 1994 S10, the fuel pump relay is located behind the lower dash panel below the radio. In 1995-98 they moved it to inside the glove box. In 1999-up they moved it to the distribution box under the hood.
