it is located inside of the oil pan. if you have low pressure and have high milage you could have bad crank bearing.
A bad fuel pump can cause stalling. The oil pressure will show low oil on the lights or gauges but if the pressure is ok then the switch should not cause stalling.

It should be perfectly happy with 10W30. Many oil change places are now using 5W30 as their default. My '96 ran just fine with that too.

You have to unplug the ground from your battery for 1 or 2 minutes.
On my 96, it's right up front. It just sort of unscrews, then pulls right out. This is also where you would replenish the oil if it's low.
