It's in the wireing harness going to the transmission computer system.
the tow-haul switch usually stops working because the wire from the switch on the shift lever is broken. this can be repaired instead of replaced. use a piece of speaker wire to repair by soldering. also put a coil in the wire so it doesn't pull against itself if you have a tilt wheel. remove the cover from the bottom of the steering column and the wire from the shift lever will be exposed so you can get to it. solder in about a six inch piece of wire so it is long enough to be able to flex.
You have a 3 way switch. Your black wire is the hot wire. Your green wire is the ground wire. Your red and white wires go to the light and other switch. You should have gotten a wiring diagram with your switch.
On the side of the coil there is a little terminal if you take a wire form that to a switch and the other terminal on the switch and earth it out on the chassis..
Unless this is a brake by wire system the switch should be located on the upper end of the brake pedal arm.
The wire connects to the switch located on the nosecone (towards the very front) of the transaxle.
The speed sensor wire is connected to the speed sensor and goes to the speed sensor relay switch. The speed sensor relay switch is connected to the computer by a separate wire.
The backup light switch is located on the side of the transmission. It has two wires coming off of it but they are probably covered in wire wrap.
The two way switches work in pairs. We find most of them in our houses where the light bulb can be operated by two switches each at the far end to the other. Each switch consists of three terminals two of which are connected. When one switch is open and the other is closed then the bulb glows and viceversa
The safety switch is located under the radiator belt. You can trace the positive wire from the battery and it will end up at the safety switch.
first check your brake light switch... its located on the brake pedal one wire should power on it all the time and the other wire only when the pedal is pressed... if power doesn't go thur then replace switch
the oil pressure switch is located on the back of the engine block closest to the alternator. it has a single Tan wire running to it, and a Grey connector.
If it is a 2-wire switch- yes If it is a 3-wire switch- no
