The paint code is located on a sticker that is labelled Parts Identification. It can start with BC/CC followed with a U, or it can start with WA and a 4 digit numeric code. The sticker is located in the door frame on the driver's side.

Where do you find the paint code for a 1997 buick lesabre?

On my 97 Lesabre Limited the paint code is on a sticker that is affixed to the top of the spare tire cover in the trunk. There are lots of parts numbers on the sticker but the paint code is the character string at the lower left. If the car is two-toned there will be an upper (U) code and a lower (L) code. Otherwise there will be just one paint code. Go to any of several websites to match your numerical code to a description of the color.
