There are verses which tend to imply that human understanding is insufficient to comprehend the details of the universe; the last part of the book of Job, for instance. There are also passages that say things like "this is a great mystery", indicating that the author (Paul, in this case) doesn't understand it either and is just taking it on faith.
However, there's no verse that literally says "don't reason it out, just believe."
No. The reason is you have to believe in him by heart. Christians should know that we read about him in the bible. We don't just read the bible, you commit to the bible. He died a death we should have died, but since we have sinned we deserved to die. He died so we did not have to.
Most Christians believe the bible is the inspired word of God, and therefore trust it unconditionally. It's just part of their beliefs.
I don't believe there is a special word for that. Just use the phrase (almost) as you wrote it, i.e., "translate the Bible" or "translation of the Bible".
If they don't believe in God then they are called "atheist." But you can't call someone that, unless they call themselves that. People just have different religions, so if they don't believe in the bible, they might have something else they believe in.
passage of the stamp act.
Although the Bible certainly says that Abraham believed in God, there is nothing in the Bible to say that he believed in just one god.
I think it is just their trademark, and is just part of the name. I do not believe there is a reason.
OpinionOne reason that some prefer to interpret the Bible for readers, is that they can give their own interpretation to various passages, to influence the beliefs of the faithful. Thus, a Catholic interpretation may be very different from that of an Episcopalian interpretation, and both could be different from that of a Jehovah's Witness or a Morman. When someone explains a passage just as it would be read without interpretation, that person is often heavily criticised as interfering in theology. For this reason, some say that the Bible should not be read at all by those without faith.
i believe it is used over 1000 times in the NIV bible but im just a loner who cant stop touching myself
it is because we believe in it but if we didn't then it would just be an ordinary book with no purpose or meaning to it.
There is no reason to believe otherwise, so...yes, there are. You just have to look hard enough.
they have lived for about 7 thousand years. All the stupid heads who believe monkeys just turn into humans can believe what they want. THE BIBLE IS ACCURATE.
