Not likely, I don't see books being replaced by CD-ROMS, but I do see them being replaced with electronic devices that allow the user to read several books in one device (such as the Kindle/Kindle HD). Don't worry though, I doubt that reading will ever go obsolete, because no matter how technologically advanced we get, reading will be a needed skill for everyone.Cheers!Joe

Boot from something else (CD, floppy...) then rather than let it go into installation mode, just format. Not all bootable CD's and floppies will have format on them, so you'll need the right disk. The point being, you can't format your boot disk, so if you're booting from C:, you won't be able to format it.
