beat all 8 gyms then in the town after pallet town, go left, and follow the path.
The Pokemon league is to the west of viridian city but to get there you must get all the badges and go through victory road!
Go to Viridian City then go left to route 22and keep going straight then you will encounter your rival. beat him then keep going your path until you till you reach a big house-like thing. go in and a cop will say "oh, that's the boulderbadge go right ahead" leave the house thing and keep following a path with cops inspecting all your badges. Before the soulbadge cop you will have to surf so bring a Surfing Pokemon. Then after the badge cops you will reach victory road. get through victory road(which is a big cave with about 3 floors) then when your out the league will be right in front of you.
