The power down module is located on the inside of the door panel itself under the armrest. If there is a problem with this module (ie unplugged, stuck etc) the driver's side window will not operate.

Can't think of why it should. The whole power window control module is powered from the ignition 1 position (just past Acc). The only thing special about the driver side window is that it has the "toll-booth" feature that lets you lower the window without keeping your finger on the switch. Never understood the appeal of that one.

Its likely it is the power window relay switch, located on the right hande side under the glove box, i think its called a kick panel, but its located behind the computer control module.
