on top of coolant resivoir.....should be a black threaded cap.
On a 2005 Lincoln LS : ( the thread on cap on your engine coolant reservoir is the pressure cap / radiator cap ) * the engine coolant reservoir is on the drivers side of the engine compartment , by the firewall
On a Lincoln LS : The engine coolant reservoir is located in the engine compartment , on the drivers side , near the firewall ( I believe it has a thread on cap , which would be the pressure cap / radiator cap )
On a 2000 Lincoln LS : The thread on cap on the engine coolant reservoir is the pressure cap / radiator cap * the engine coolant reservoir is in the engine compartment , on the drivers side of the engine compartment , next to the firewall , you can see the cap through a hole in the " trim "
The thread on cap for your engine coolant reservoir is the pressure cap / radiator cap ( the engine coolant reservoir is located on the drivers side of the engine compartment , near the firewall )
I'm not a mechanic / technician but I believe the degas bottle is an engine coolant reservoir that has the pressure cap / radiator cap screwed on top ( instead of having a radiator cap on the radiator ) In the case of a Lincoln LS : It is in the engine compartment , on the drivers side of the engine compartment , near the firewall ( you will see a hole in the " trim " that allows you to see the reservoir " cap "
On a 2002 Lincoln LS : The degas bottle ( engine coolant reservoir with the pressure cap / radiator cap screwed on the top ) is located in the engine compartment , near the firewall , on the drivers side of the engine compartment ( you will see the " cap " through a hole in a piece of " trim "
On a 2002 Lincoln LS : The engine coolant reservoir has the pressure cap / radiator cap screwed on top of it , so it is called a degas bottle * it is located in the engine compartment , on the drivers side , near the firewall ( there is a hole through the " trim " to gain access to the cap )
P1565-Speed Control System Concern for a 00 Lincoln LS V6? where is located?
At the radiator or at the coolant resivoir.
There isn't one.The system is designed to use the recovery tank on the driver side. There is a cap on the recovery tank and you check the level there and add coolant there.
On a 2000 Lincoln LS : Both the 3.0 liter V6 and the 3.9 V8 engines have the Coil On Plug ( C.O.P. ) ignition system so there is no distributor / distributor cap
it is at the bottom of the Radiator on either the left or the right side...it is a plastic or metal threaded tab
