Drain radiator at bottom or rear of radiator
To change the radiator in a Pontiac Aztek, start by ensuring the engine is cool and disconnect the battery. Drain the coolant by removing the drain plug at the bottom of the radiator and disconnect the upper and lower radiator hoses. Remove any mounting bolts and the fan assembly if necessary, then pull out the old radiator. Install the new radiator by reversing the process, reconnecting the hoses, and filling the system with coolant.

To remove the automatic transmission lines from the radiator on a 2002 Aztek, first, ensure the vehicle is turned off and cooled down. Use a line wrench to carefully loosen the fittings on both the inlet and outlet lines connected to the radiator. Be prepared for some transmission fluid to leak out; placing a drain pan underneath can help catch any spills. Once the lines are loose, gently pull them away from the radiator, ensuring not to damage the fittings.
If it does not have a drain plug, just simply remove the lower radiator hose.
