there should be a drain valve located on the passenger side on the bottom of the radiator
Should be located in a removable housing at the engine end of the upper radiator hose Drain approx. 1 gallon of coolant from the radiator remove this housing
how do i change alternator belt on 83 eldorado
Make sure the engine is completely cool. Disconnect the hose at the water pump. Allow as much coolant as possible to drain out into a sealable container for proper disposal. Remove the hose from the radiator. If the hose is being stubborn in removal, carefully slit the hose around the fittings and peel it off. Replace with new hose and new clamps. Refill radiator with coolant. Allow engine to run for a couple of minutes to make sure there is plenty of coolant in the system. Add more if needed.
Behind and to the right of the glove box. You must remove the liner first and feel for the attachment bolts because the sensor is tucked behind a bracket. After replacing the sensor on my 83 Eldo (not cheap - part discontinued) I discovered that the problim was a vacum leak. I replaced all the old vacum hoses (cheap 10' of hose) and wha-laa. Good Luck
(1)there is a leak in the system, (2)fluid reservoir is low, (3)air in the lines.
1-5-3-6-2-4. 1 being closest to the radiator
sure it can be done, just put in V8 motor mounts and a bigger radiator.
