At the bottom, or rear fo the radiator or remove lower radiator hose.
The drain plug is on the bottom of the radiator. It is on the opposite side from the bottom hose.
where is the radiator drain plug on a chev cavalier
the overflow res. cap is the radiator cap on the 97 cavalier
Open the drain plug at the bottom of the radiator on the Cavalier if the plug is there. If the radiator is the model that does not have the plug, then the bottom hose needs to be removed to drain the coolant.
Either at the bottom or the rear of the radiator
AnswerI have a 99 cavalier. The drain plug for mine is in the bottom right corner of the radiator as you are facing the front of the car. You attach a rubber hose to the side and turn the plug counter clockwise to open it. I don't know if a 97 is the same, but cavaliers don't seem to change too much from one year to the next.
It is on the bottom of the radiator. Sometimes it is easier to remove the lower radiator hose.
Should be at the bottom or rear of radiator or remove lower radiator hose
Lower passenger side of the radiator.
If you can't find drain plug, just disconnect lower radiator hose.
There isn't one, you have to take off the lower radiator hose.
Should be in a removable housing at the engine end of the upper radiator hose
