# Remove the air cleaner outlet tube. # Drain the cooling system. # Disconnect and position the lower radiator hose out of the way. NOTE Use care so that coolant does not get on the drive belt. # Remove the bolts and the thermostat housing. # Remove the thermostat and the O-ring. To install: NOTE Clean all the sealing surfaces and inspect the O-ring seals thoroughly. # Replace the thermostat and the O-ring. # Install the bolts and the thermostat housing.
Install the air cleaner outlet tube to the shown torque # Connect the lower radiator hose.
