There should be 5 basic fuse boxes in an XJ8 .One in the right rear in the trunk(by battery), one behind the right and left heel boards in the passenger rear floor area and two in the drivers side of the engine compartment.
Get in the car like you're going to drive it ... Now look down by your left foot, about 10 inches above the foot and slightly to the left is the cover to the fuse panel. The inside cover to the panel will say which fuse is for the radio. Billy
what about the fuse box?, more info needed.
To locate your fuse box, check your owners manual. There should also be a diagram for where each fuse is located.

The location would be in the owner's manual if it is still with the vehicle. If not, Jaguar is really good about catagorizing their fuse box locations with components. It will more than likely be in the trunk fuse box next to the battery.

I have a 1988 Jag XJ6 that presented a "Circuit 1 Failure" on the dashboard. The cause of the problem was found to be a blown fuse in the passenger side fuse box. I replaced the fuse and the error message went away. "Circuit 1" refers to the fuse box located behind the right-front passenger side kick panel. "Circuit 2 failure" would indicate a problem in the fuse box located behind the driver's kick panel. Lastly, a "Circuit 3 failure" message would indicate a problem in the fuse box located in the center console. I hope that helps! - Keith

it is in the luggage compartment #5 a 25 amp fuse go to the store and buy a package ( $2.50 for 5) as they do not give you a spare of that size. It is listed as " cigar lighter" and it burns out pretty easy so the package of 5 is nice
The fuse box diagram will be located on the inside cover of the fuse box. The fuse box can be found in the engine compartment.
