Given that the four basic ingredients are wheat flour, salt, water and kansui, the noodles themselves are almost certainly vegan .. but they are usually served in a meat based (normally beef or chicken) broth, which would clearly be neither vegan nor vegetarian. Ramen Noodles are vegan. And most …of ramen restaurants has vegan dashi stocks which are made from dried Shiitake mushrooms and Nori. You can request not to include any meat, fish and egg and put dried Shiitake and Nori broth instead of chicken, pork, beef, fish, etc. broth. you can also choose a lot of toppings like Shiitake Mushrooms, Tofu, Vegetables, Nori etc. You can also season it with soy sauce from better taste. Ramen noodles are a Japanese dish of many varieties, involving noodles and soup or broth. Instant noodles that are popularly called or sold as ramen are not quite the same as the Japanese dish, but they derive from it. Wikipedia says: . Instant noodles are dried and/or precooked noodles fused… with oil, usually eaten after being cooked or soaked in boiling water for 3 to 5 minutes. A flavor packet is almost always included with a packet of instant noodles. The product may also be consumed uncooked from the packet, as the noodles are already cooked, usually by frying. . I've done it by heating water in the microwave for 2-3 minutes, then adding the noodles and heating for another 4 minutes or so...cooking times will depend on your microwave. After heating in microwave, mix in the flavor packet. D- You dont really have to heat the water first, if you have a sink ru…n your water hot, and i guess 4 mins is a good time to make them all the way done... me personally, put them for 3 mins and mix, letting all the flavors and juices and s#$% soak in and kinda marinate the noodles, know what im sayin? It depends on how you like your noodles. I like the way they turn out when you microwave them in a glass bowl. I crunch it up put it in a glass bowl add water and microwave for 3 1/2 minutes. I'm not to sure that they ever truly become in-edible. I just ate a package and the best by date was three years ago, I feel fine. The noodles might go stale, but that goes away when you boil them, and the flavoring is so full of salt that it should last for years and years. Noodles packets are no…t always 100% air tight. That means with time there is absorption of watervapour from air (specially hygroscopic items like some salts-KCl, sugars). Where there is dampness there in growth of fungus. So the expiry is based on factors as porosity of pacakging, hygroscopic nature of enclosed material etc.. If u find the tastemaker powder is not free flowing (upon accumulation of vapour for a long time) it is near expiry. ( Full Answer )
No, ramen noodles actually make you even fatter. You can loose weight with just about any kind of diet if you are really determined to do so, it's just a matter of balancing calories and exercise. Many people are reporting weight loss with a ramen noodle diet, but as many people point out, ra…men noodles have a high level of sodium that can actually cause you to retain water. It's also not a good idea to simply eat just one thing. One person reported loosing 10lbs on a ramen noodle diet, only using half the flavor packets or substituting the flavor packets with something else, such as salt, pepper, garlic or even lemon juice. There are better diets out there to be had, but if you want to give it a shot with ramen noodles, it's very possible. ( Full Answer )
