On the left interior rear panel there's a small tray between where the seat belt goes behind the panel and the rear door. Pull this tray out and the fan is right below it
My 2000 has an intermittent problem with the rear fan quitting. I found the plug on the fan to be loosing contact.
Did you check the fan?
We need a little more info but typically rear ac not working is due to a bad fan or possibly loss of refrigerant.
front climate control has two switches, front fan and rear fan control, on the rear fan control - turn the switch to the second notch usely marked rear fan control (aux - control) mode.
No. Me No High AC Fan
I believe that it is located in the back left corner. The rear climate control (Heating, AC and Fan) should all be there.
Check for a second fan switch on the control panel by the radio.
I have a 92' and it's likely in the same spot whihc is under the van on drivers side between the front and rear tire. Will be a box with a rubber driop hose coming out and about three ac/heat tubes going into it. Inside is the rear fan and ac condencer.
The problem is that the rear heat/ac vent that mixes the two to control the climate is broken, I had it replaced at the dealership since it kept knocking when I tried to operate the rear climate controls. I hate it when sites like this act like they have the answer when they don't. Just trying to get google traffic.
The answer to that question depends on what the rear ac is doing or not doing. Both the front and rear ac systems operate from the same compressor. If your front ac works fine and the system has a full charge your problem might be in the expansion block located in the rear of the vehicle. You can find the block behind one of the rear panels. Remove the panel and run the ac system. follow the ac lined that come up from under the vehicle and you will see that both lines run into what looks like an aluminum block. Check the temperature of the lines on both sides of the block. The line that runs to the rear evaporator should be extremely cold. If it is not chances are that you have an expansion block concern and it should be replaced. CHECK THE FAN RELAY FOR THE REAR AIR ALSO CHECK THE CONTROL LOCATED IN THE HEADLINER
Why does your ac and heater fan turn off and on
