Usually the front and rear use the same reservoir - check to see if there are 2 washer pumps on the tank
The washer fluid for the rear liftgate is supplied by the same reservoir as your windshield ( located in the engine compartment ) on a 1999 Ford Explorer
Under the hood in the engine compartment. The rear washer draws from the same reservoir as the front wipers and the fluid is piped to the rear.
The rear washer fluid come from the windshield washer fluid reservoir on your 1999 Ford Expedition ( according to the owners manual )
The washer fluid pump is on the bottom of the washer fluid reservoir.
In, under, or near the washer fluid reservoir.
One possible cause is that your window washer fluid is very low. When you turn, the little bit of fluid that is left sloshes away from the sensor and sounds the alarm. It should also turn on a light on your panel that indicates low window washer fluid.
On a 1999 Ford Expedition : The washer fluid for the rear liftgate is supplied by the same reservoir for the front windshield ( located in the engine compartment )
Hi, I have a 1999 RX300, and I'm assuming that Lexus didn't make any significant changes to the engine compartment from 1999 to 2000. Once you have the hood open, look on the left front side of the compartment. My washer reservoir has a black pryoff cap with a symbol on it that looks like a windshield wiper. It also has some printing that says, "Washer Fluid Only". There isn't a separate reservoir for the rear window washer, so if you fill the reservoir, and you still aren't getting any washer fluid to the rear window, then you must have a different problem. If the reservoir is empty, it will hold about 1 gallon of washer fluid. Hope this helps. Sincerely, Bouleau
It is attached to the bottom of the washer fluid reservoir.
The nozzles or the hoses may be clogged.
pump ? what one oil ,fuel ,washer fluid ...oil is in the oil pan fuel is in the gas tank and washer is by the washer fluid res .. hope that helped
The 1999 Ford Explorer uses only one washer fluid reservoir for both front and rear washers. It's the one under the hood on the passenger side. The forward tank is for the radiator overflow, the rearward one is for washer fluid. There's only one washer motor, too. It runs forward for the front nozzles, and reverse for the rear nozzle.
