you might need a different kind of router. go to.. i think its just nintendo.com under the ds part and it should explain what kinds you can use
Are you sure the Sky Router is using WEP? The default is WPA, which a regular DS cannot decrypt.
The DS has its own internal wi-fi capability, and can connect to a wireless router.
DSI? Yes. DS? actually you can if you have high speed internet and and a wireless router.
you'll probably just need to configure your router. make sure you've set WEP as protection for your wireless.
I think you can't use a router with a WPA connection with the Nintendo DS. I tried it with our router, but finally gave up and configured the router to WEP instead. The regular DS and DS lite cannot decrypt WPA security, but the DSi can. You could get a Nintendo USB wi-fi adapter which plugs into the PC and turns it into another access point, the DS can connect to this. It doesn't matter that your router is using WPA, because only your PC is connecting to that, the DS is now connecting to a signal broadcast by the PC itself. But please note when using WPA on the DSi that only newer games will work with it. Old DS games will not work which is a shame.
Move as close as you can to your wireless router, and if your router has an encryption lock (WEP or WPA key), disable it.
The only thing you can do if your Access Point's security settings are not supported by the DS would be to change the settings so that they are supported by the DS. You would have to log-in to your Router's web interface in order to change the settings for your Router.
use the Buffalo router because it is made to use the Wii and DS online stuff. It uses some weird thing so use buffalo .
No. The Nintendo channel on the Wii can via DS download play, but It's only demos.
It is possible with homebrew software.
you have to get a router. preferably wireless..... if that isn't the only type of router there is.. anyway yea you just hook it up and do your thing.rach((:
