Hebrews 9:27 (KJV)
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment
Yes It is appointed unto man once to die. Can't hep it, evrybody dies.
Because it is a cop-out. Christians believe that - "It is appointed unto men once to die, and after this [cometh] judgment;" (Hebrews 9.27) But if you may die many times as the Hindus teach, there really is no final judgement.
God doesn't kill people. People kills people. It is appointed unto man once to die and after that the judgment. We are not made to live in this body forever but we don't always know how or when we will die. We do know for sure we are going to die.
Scripture doesn't say: 'The Second Coming of Jesus'... It says:"And if I go and prepare a place for you, I WILL COME AGAIN, and receive you unto Myself; that where I AM, there ye may be also." (John 14:3 KJV)And Jesus repeats a little later: "Ye have heard how I said unto you, 'I go away, and COME AGAIN unto you..." (verse 28).Then, we are told: "For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the Firstfruits; afterward they that are His AT HIS COMING." (I Cor.15:22-23)And, finally, we're told: "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the Judgment: so Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for Him SHALL HE APPEAR THE SECOND TIME without sin unto Salvation." (Heb.9:27-28)
Answer:According to the Bible... there are TWO DEATHS.The first one is "appointed" to all men. It's the second death from which we may be saved by faith in Christ."And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the Judgment: so Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for Him shall He appear the second time without sin unto salvation." (Heb.9:27-28)"He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the SECOND DEATH." (Rev.2:11)"...and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works... this is the SECOND DEATH... whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the Lake of Fire." (Rev.20:12-15)
Not at all because they are all dead...it is given unto man once to die and then the judgment!
When our time comes:Hebrews 9:27New King James Version (NKJV) 27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,

Many teach that Enoch and Elijah never died but were taken to Heaven with God. This is a misinterpretation of Scripture as it repeatedly states it is appointed unto man to die, then the Judgment. These two men were simple 'transported' in the sky (heaven) to a safe location. Elijah is even noted writing a letter to the present King of Jerusalem 7 years after the chariot came to take him away. Here is a verse once used in a 1960's hit, 'Turn, turn, turn.'Ecclesiastes 3:2New International Version (NIV) 2 a time to be born and a time to die,a time to plant and a time to uproot,
