Speaking about the coming of God's Kingdom, and how important it is to be spiritually awake when it arrives, Jesus says at Luke 21:34-36KJV "...And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares...('Surfeit' means: "stuff or gorge"... over-indulgence in eating or drinking)(Proverbs 25:16).
**Overeating is a type of greed, and can become "gluttony", a serious sin against God, involving REGULARLY eating and drinking to excess (Proverbs 23:20).
It shows a self-centered attitude, demonstrating greed, a deep lack of self control, even 'idolatry' in some cases, and was often worthy of the death penalty in Bible days(Deuteronomy 21:18-21)(Proverbs 28:7)(Proverbs 23:21).
Drunkenness is also a type of gluttony, and those guilty of it, were removed from early Christian congregations to keep them from bringing reproach on God's name (1Corinthians 5:11-13)(1Corinthians 6:9-11) . It would be viewed by God, the same way today, as God does NOT change(Malachi 3:6)(James 1:17)
The Bible says very clearly that rebellion is like witchcraft. It says that like witchcraft is a sin, so is rebellion a sin.
Nowhere in the Bible does it say that.
The Bible says you can't not cross anything out from the Bible.
When it seems to be elements that contradict what the bible says you have to pray for forgiveness and repent of your sin
Romans
Romans 3:23
None. The Bible does not teach ethics but salvation from sin through Jesus Christ.
No problem; they often do, but we have the precious blood of Jesus to make us clean from sin, as the Scripture says: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. (1 John 1.7)
All the actions of sin lead to death; as the Bible says in Ezekial 18.20. The soul that sinneth, it shall die. And as the Bible says in1 John 3.4, sin is the transgression of the law.
Yes, the Bible says be careful with your eyes.
The bible says it's a sin for a man to lie with another man. In modern language, it means to have sex with.
No because in the bible it says "All man will be judged for his own sin".
