the temp sensor is on the thermostadt but it doesnt control the rad fan. you're thinking about the rad fan switch which is in one of the fenders by the firewall or right on the rad support.
You may have a bad or weak cooling fan sensor.
bad coolant sensor
Elect. fan for the rad. most likely a bad sensor.
Could be a blown fuse or a faulty circuit breaker, a faulty relay, a faulty temperature sensor or the fan motor may be at fault.
The sensor is located under the upper rad hose Directly below the hose is a sensor with 1 wire to it That is for the gauge Just behind and down from that is a sensor with 2 wires This is the fan sensor
Could be many things. Rad., Fan, thermostat, fan sensor, water pump, blocked passages.
comp dont run it, it is a sensor in rad or by thermostat
These fans work off of heat sensors. Your sensor can be failing, replace this sensor. This still does not tell where the sensor is located.
Many reasons. Low coolant, bad fan sensor, bad fan, thermostat not opening, blockage in the line, poor condition of rad.
Try the rad. fan or the rad. fan relay
possible plugged radiator, sticking thermostat, rad fan not working, temperature sensor not working, low coolant level. that's just a starting point. possible plugged radiator, sticking thermostat, rad fan not working, temperature sensor not working, low coolant level. that's just a starting point.
