behind the window crank
Most chevys have a horseshoe shaped clip on the window crank. There is a special tool to remove it , but I just push them off with a small screw driver, or hook the back with a dental tool

Theoretically, yes.
If you push back the door panel, you should see a retaining clip behind the center of the crank. Pull it out with a small needle nose pliers.
The better machine shops can drill and tap the crank for you. Might be cheaper to buy a newer crank.
There is a small 'c' clip on the underside of the crank. A set of needle nose pliers are handy
All chevy truck had a small rear window up until the 1955 was produced. The 1954 had one small rear window flanked on either side by very small windows.
push in on the door panel. use a small flat head screw driver push the clip of the crank an then pull the crank off
Unplug the wire connector and remove the one small bolt that holds the sensor in the timing cover and then pull out on the sensor. push the new one back in the hole and install the small bolt and plug it back up and your done.
Use a small screw driver to pry the tiny pin that holds it in place with the shaft. The pin looks like a paperclip and is wraped around the cylinder of the handle.
there is a C shaped clip behind the handle. I have the tool to remove it you can get them at auto zone. you can also use a small pick to pull clip out but watch out it will fling out
well in my bug somewhere on the window crank next to the door is a small screw, mines an Allen screw(hexagonal inset head) so you might need an Allen wrench, but if its there just unscrew it and pull it off.
