It can a number of things depending on the shape of the mark. If basicallt the whole face is white then it is called a white face. A blaze is a mark that covers most of the face not the yes and perhaps some of the nostrils. A stripe is a thin line down the centre of a horses face and can be slightly weirdly shaped sometimes.
