most S-10s are a V6, and to get to the plugs, the easiest way is to jack up the front end and go under the wheel well splash guard with a swivel plug socket and a long extension. there is a shock absorber that blocks one of the plugs on the drivers side, and the easiest way to get at it is to put the socket on and break it loose with a wrench and then remove it the rest of the way with your fingers (if you use the socket the whole time it has a chance of getting stuck on)

For the S-10 4 cyl flex fuel, open the hood. The plugs are immediately accessible from above, once the plug wire boots are removed. If your hand is not small enough to fit for installation and hand-tightening of the new plugs you may have to use a socket extension. Be careful! The porcelain part of the plug will break if there is any flex at all as you turn the new plug in the hole. BTW, before you put the plugs in, do not forget to put some anti-seize on the plug threads.
