Where is the starter located on a 1993 Dodge Intrepid?
It is towards the bottom of the motor on driver's side. three bolts on the starter on and also a clip/connect. It is best to raise/jack the car on driver's side to remove from bottom.
If the same as my 94 Intrepid with the 3.3, it should be held on by 3 bolts, jack up drivers side of car, disconnect battery, unbolt, the starter shouldn't fall out, but make sure it comes out slow, and you disconnect the positive connection as well as the clip on piece that goes to the solenoid. Easy as pie.
The fuel filter for the 1993-1997 Dodge Intrepid is located on the right rear of the car connected to the fuel line. Before attempting to disconnect the fuel filter you must first depressurize the system (for your safety). It is highly recommended that you first obtain a service manual for a step by step process on what to do (remember gasoline is very flammable and the life you save may just be your own).

The starter solenoid is the small (about 1 or 2 inch diameter) cylinder attached to the much larger cylinder that is the starter itself. This is usually located on the drivers side of the engine, low down and to the rear, attached to the transmission bellhousing. The positive battery cable will lead you straight to it, and attaches to the solenoid.
