with great difficulty and cussing. Renault are the worst vehicles ever made...... with citroen, peugeot and traubant.
after diving in to the job myself to save £120 and after a lot of fruastration, the best way is to remove the driveshaft first to give plenty of room for the starter motor to drop out the bottom.....
It is located at the backside of the motor block. You will need to a mirror to see it less to remove the engine.
Starter i located on the back of the engine - between manifold and driveshaft.
The starter motor is situated towards the back of the engine if your facing it.
the round part on top of the starter
Apparently with a lot of difficulty. Mine went yesterday and the RAC guy told me it involves removal of the drive shaft, meaning all the oil will pour out. Not something he was willing to do. Why did I get a Megane?
its just under the engine in the meddle.
under the exhaust. Silly answer above, it's not. It will be at the back of the engine compartment close to the wipers.
it could either be a fuse a relay or the wiper motor may have broken/worn out. s autos
