Where is the temperature sensor located on a 2004 duramax diesel?
Yes they are the same, now-a-days it is called IAT (Inlet Air Temperature)
linear monolithic
When a thermometer reaches thermal equilibrium, the temperature of the thermometer and the substance it is measuring are the same. Therefore, the thermometer is essentially measuring its own temperature.
On the 1.6 Zetec it's actually on the back of the EFI manifold, and it screws in. A 24mm spanner can be used to remove it (or mole grips).
well, in our case, I suspect it reflects the fact that the outside sensor was encased in ice during our recent weather & has now snapped off. Indoor reading still fine.
on the intake manifold near housing
Store under the drain pan of the transmission.
On intake manifold behind ac compressor
where is the crank sensor located on a 6.0l ford power stroke diesel
In the transmission cooler line. Two wire connector
The Duramax don't have a knock sensor.
On the Cummins diesel the crank sensor is located in the side of the block under/behind the starter. On the Cummins diesel the crank sensor is located in the side of the block under/behind the starter.
The ambient air temperature sensor, on a Caterpillar see 13 diesel engine, is located between the air filter and the air intake on the engine. The sensor should be near the air filter.
transmission temperature sensor location
The ambient temperature sensor is located behind the front grill.
under the back-right suppertronic convention metre
The transmission sensor is inside of the transmission under the pan. The pan has to be removed to get to the sensor.
