Just follow the top radiator hose to the engine, you will see where it clamps onto a housing. The thermostat is under that housing.
Make SURE ENGINE IS COLD, drain coolant then remove the two bolts that hold that housing on.

They don't use an outside gasket. It has a rubber ring around the stat that makes the seal.
